TradingView shows red errors
A bit of the old code was probably left behind. In Pine Editor, select everything, delete it, then paste again. Use Copy it again if you need a fresh copy.
It added, but nothing shows
Switch your chart to the candle size your indicator uses. It only marks setups on that size.
"Too many indicators on this chart"
Free TradingView allows a few indicators per chart. Remove one you don't use, then add yours again.
On NinjaTrader
It didn't work on NinjaTrader's steps has its own answers: errors when NinjaTrader compiles, an indicator missing from the Indicators list, and nothing showing on the chart. They are also in Add your indicator to NinjaTrader. Something's different there says NinjaTrader instead of TradingView.
On cTrader
It didn't work on cTrader's steps has its own answers: errors when cTrader builds it, an indicator missing from the Custom list, and nothing showing on the chart. They are also in Add your indicator to cTrader.
On Quantower
It didn't work on Quantower's steps has its own answers: errors when Visual Studio builds it, an indicator missing from Quantower's Indicators list, and nothing showing on the chart. They are also in Add your indicator to Quantower.

Something's different
Pick what's different: the number in the box, a setup that isn't on your chart, a setup on TradingView that isn't in your preview, or prices that are slightly different. You can add when it is. Only what you choose and type is sent. Your chart stays on your device.
A chart file and TradingView's own chart can differ slightly, for example in the prices of a candle or where a day starts, which can move a marker. We look into every report, and if it's our mistake, we fix it.
