You change plans in Settings, on the Account & Plan card.
How to do it
- Select Change plan. The three plans appear, each with its monthly and yearly price.
- For the Bot, choose how many extra blocks of 5 accounts you want.
- Select the price you want.
You stay on the Settings page the whole time.
Moving up starts straight away
Moving to a bigger plan, from monthly to yearly, or to more Bot accounts starts at once. First, the card shows the exact amount you'll pay today: the new plan's price, minus what you paid for but haven't used on your current plan. Nothing is charged until you press Confirm and pay.
Your new period starts that day. The message shows the new price and the date it next renews. If your card is declined, nothing changes and you stay on your current plan.
Moving down waits for your renewal
Moving to a smaller plan, from yearly to monthly, or to fewer Bot accounts starts at the end of the period you've already paid for. Nothing is charged or refunded when you choose it. You keep everything on your current plan until that date, which the message shows. Cancelling works the same way.
If you move up before a move down has happened, the move up replaces it.
It changes the subscription you already have
Changing plan never buys a second subscription. If you press the plan you already have, you're told so, and nothing is charged. The first time you buy, there is nothing to change, so the press opens the payment page.
When a move down takes effect
Your connected accounts stay connected. Moving from the Bot to Indicator or Backtest switches your real accounts off, because only the Bot trades real accounts. A demo account, if you have one, is not touched. Moving to fewer Bot accounts means you can't add another until you're under the new number.
Switching an account off is never blocked by billing, on any plan.
What can go wrong
- The change didn't go through. The message says nothing changed and nothing was charged. Try again in a moment.
- You waited before confirming. After half an hour, the amount is worked out again. You see the new figure before anything is charged.
- A plan you can't buy. If a plan is briefly unavailable, the message says the problem is on our side.
