Notifications: what you can control

Ten kinds of message, where each one can reach you, and settings that can be different per account. Email carries the alerts today.

Notification settings are in Settings, under Notifications. Each row is a kind of message. The columns are the three places a message can reach you: in the app, by email, and on your phone.

Phone notifications are not switched on

Not on iPhone, and not on Android. The Push column is where they will go. Until then, everything Wildflower would send to your phone goes to your email instead, at the same moment. The Notifications card says so in one line.

What Wildflower can tell you

  • Order filled. In the app. On by default.
  • Trade won. In the app and by email. On by default.
  • Trade lost. In the app and by email. On by default.
  • Trading halt. In the app and by email. On by default.
  • Guardrail reached. In the app and by email. On by default. It says a guardrail you set has reached your limit. If you asked it to stop new entries or close open trades, the message also says what happened.
  • Strategy status. In the app and by email. On by default.
  • Daily summary. Email. On by default.
  • Weekly report. Email. Off by default.
  • Monthly report. Email. On by default, so you get a monthly statement of your own trading without having to look for this page.
  • Account and product emails. Email only. On by default. See below.

Not every channel is offered for every message. Order filled has no email option. Fills show in the bell menu in the app, and the day's fills are in your daily summary and trade history.

Account and product emails

This row covers:

  • A welcome email
  • The occasional note about something waiting on you
  • A note if nothing is running on your account
  • A monthly note about what the software did
  • If your subscription ends, one note a month later saying your strategies and accounts are still here

Turning it off stops only those. These always arrive, whatever the setting: your first payment, a failed payment, a cancellation, the end of access, and renewal reminders (yearly plans 35 and 7 days before, monthly plans once a year).

When you write to us

Replying to any of these emails, or writing to hello@wildflower.money, reaches the same place. The answer comes back in the same email thread.

Per account, as well as for you

An account's own setting wins. If it has none, your own setting applies, and then the default. So a demo account can be silent while a funded one is not, without changing anything else.

Quiet hours

Two time boxes on the same page set a quiet window, in your own timezone. The window can cross midnight. Quiet hours hold back phone notifications only, so while those are off, the window changes nothing you receive. Email and in-app messages are never held. Halt and guardrail alerts always come through, even in quiet hours.

What can go wrong

An email that doesn't arrive is a different problem from a setting that is off. Check the row is on for that account, then read the article below.
