One trade, in detail

A trade's own page: its chart, the result after fees, why it traded, and the fill details a careful trader checks.

Open any trade in Activity to see its own page.

At the top

  • After fees is what the trade made or lost once your broker's fees are taken off. Before fees sits beside it. If your broker hasn't reported the fees yet, the page says so instead of guessing.
  • Entry, Stop and Target are the prices the trade used.
  • Why it traded and How it ended are the sentences Wildflower wrote from its own record.

The chart shows the candles around the trade, with the entry, stop and target drawn on it. On your own broker's data, the candles come from the Wildflower agent on your computer.

More details

Open More details for the numbers behind the trade:

  • Planned entry and Filled at: the price your strategy asked for, and the price your broker gave.
  • Slippage on entry and on exit: the price you got minus the price planned, in ticks and dollars, and whether it went against you or in your favour. A tick is the smallest step the price can move.
  • Risk planned and Actual risk: what the trade was meant to risk, and what it risked at the price it actually filled.
  • Fees: the total, and the amount for each contract.
  • Time to fill: from the candle closing to your broker filling the order.
  • Broker order numbers: the numbers your broker gave the orders, for when you need to look one up with them.

A figure Wildflower did not record says Not known. Nothing is filled in.

When a stop moved during the trade, there is no planned exit to compare with, so exit slippage is not shown.
