If you know how you trade, you can say it instead of picking blocks. Open a strategy from the Library tab of the Strategies page and choose Describe it in your own words.
What it does
You describe your rules. Wildflower says them back to you, turns them into blocks, and asks about anything you left open. Every trading number is one you typed or answered, and Wildflower records which. Months later, you can still see where each number came from.
How to use it
- Describe the strategy as you would to another trader: the market, the setup, what must be true first, the stop and the target.
- Answer its questions. They are short: which timeframe, how many ticks, which side. Enter sends. Shift+Enter starts a new line.
- When the summary looks right, save it as a version in your library. It is marked "Written from your description".
Gaps are fine. It saves as a draft and lists any unanswered fields as decisions still to make.
What you see while you talk
Your conversation fills the screen. Beside it, "Your strategy so far" shows what has been written down, in plain sentences. Each one has a grey note saying where it came from. Nothing you have not said appears there.
Under it are the decisions still to make, and how many are done. The full outline is behind Show details. On a phone, the summary folds under the conversation.
Questions with a fixed set of answers
Some settings have a fixed list of answers, such as how a moving average is worked out, or which price a stop sits at. These show as buttons. You see the whole list, in the same order as the block library, with none marked out or put first. Tapping one sends it as your own message, so the record still says you answered.
Leaving before you save
You can stop part-way. Everything is kept. The strategy page shows it under "You are still describing this one", with what is still to decide and two buttons: carry on, or save it as it stands.
To begin again, use Start over. It asks first, then clears the screen. Your saved versions are not touched, and what you already put down is kept, not deleted.
Talking about one part of a detector
A detector is the block that spots a setup. Some detectors have named parts, such as the opening range. Describe how you use a part on its own and it is written down as that part. A part only works beside its own detector. If you name one that does not fit, Wildflower tells you where it belongs and asks what you meant.
Talking about levels
Levels are described as sets, not as single settings. There are two sets: the lines price keeps coming back to, and the previous day's high and low.
Say "I mark the previous day's high and low, and I won't enter if price is too close to one". That sentence lands on every block that reads that set. You do not need to know which blocks those are.
How much you can describe
With no plan, you get 3 builds a month, counted as each conversation starts. There is also a monthly limit on free building, which covers the conversation inside each build. If you reach it, the screen says "You've used this month's free building. It resets on the 1st."
On a paid plan, you get a monthly allowance. When it runs low, the screen says about how many builds are left, then the day it resets.
It never picks a number for you
It never picks a number for you. Ask what your stop should be and it will say that's your call, then write down what you choose.
A check reads every reply before you see it. A reply that names a number you did not give is not shown, and it is not quietly edited either. If a reply is stopped twice, that turn fails and says so.
